Winter forever.
Yesterday marked the first day of Winter, and luckily, we had a fairly warm, clear day. We spent a lot of time outside, soaking up the last of the of the sun and admiring the pretty, earthy, Autumn views.

City visits.
Every Thursday, Matt travels in to the city for a day of study at the college he attends in order to complete his apprenticeship, this Thursday, Daisy and I took the train in to meet him after he finished up. (which meant that I had to get over my fear of travelling alone on public transport with a baby)
Daisy was feeling a bit under the weather, which tends to happen whenever she is teething, or when the seasons change (first day of Winter today, hoorah!). It is truly heartbreaking, watching her eyes tear up and her nose run, but she still constantly remains the happiest little gal.
(Apple slices helped to keep her entertained for a bit of the 1hr train trip)
When we finally met up with Matthew, we went for Korean food (my favourite), had a browse around the local shopping complex and took Daisy for a play at a little activity center, which she loved.
The train ended up being delayed on the way home, turning our 1hr trip into a 2.5hr trip with a sleepy, snotty babe, but all in all, any time spent together is good time.

Thrifty finds. {No. 14}
1. A pretty Johnson plate.
2. A Staffordshire set. I am so in love with this design.
3. Three super cheap tea cups, because you can never have enough. (I think I paid 50c for all of these)
4. A 90s Fisher Price cash register.
5. A Fire King ramekin. I don't usually snatch up the Fire King pieces that I stumble upon, but this design is so lovely, I couldn't pass this up for $1.
6. A cute little cheese plate (that I'll be using to serve Daisy's meals on, because it's too adorable to only be used occasionally)
7. A pretty Avon perfume bottle.
8. One of my all time favourite finds. A bag filled with mixed vintage tin kitchenware. I've been eyeing off some similar pieces on eBay, but most sell for a little bit too much. How cute is the little toaster?!
9. Another 90s Polaroid. We actually scored this guy for free after Matthew helped a lady with her bags at the thrift store.
10. The prettiest, printed vintage apron.
11. & another favourite, a set of pastel, stack-able, Pyrex bowls.
